Not much time to tell you about it, 'cause I have some serious resting to
do, but... Well, I spent the last couple of days modelling the little
bottle. It's quite detailed. Based on a real national-brand (Congo) tabasco
sauce bottle. Has photons and all that... too bad it's so small. This took
about 5 hours to render. I hope you like the floor. Much work still to be
done. More bottles, more food, more background. Good night. Enjoy. :)

It's coming along very nicely! I like the chair, especially the back of it,
but the part you sit on looks a little flat and hard.

I'm not sure where the scene is supposed to take place - on some kind of
balcony?

> I hope you like the floor.

There seems to be some pattern, but I can't make it out. Maybe make it a bit
stronger.

> Much work still to be done. More bottles, more food, more background.

Look forward to see it!

I think so too. :)

Also not done yet, I forgot to mention that.

Yes.

Hm... Maybe some stronger colors. The normal is about exactly how I want it.

Me too! :)

I really like this, but, y'know what? I'm thinking it would make a really
cool anim having the table cloth sway gently in a breeze, and some audio of
birdsong or waves lapping against a shore.

Get to it! :-)

Dipped it in hot water for half an hour.

Uh, <ponders rendering time> no, I don't think so...

Forgive me, master!

You are forgiven, even though you have strayed from the path of cloth
animation to concentrate on the "other-side"... the STILL IMAGE. :-)

The animation-side is beautiful thing in and of itself, but the still-side
can complement most any image. The still is slow. The animation is fast. The
still detailed. The animation low-res. The still is there, yet not the
center of attention. The animation draws the eye to it, and entertains.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is one hell of a movie. Microsoft faked some
XBox shots. And Harvey is the Wonder Hamster. What? You're still reading
this? ;)

Not on *my* computer :-(

Yes.

You're losing me...

I hope mine do

Not seen it (yet)

Don't care.

Nah, you've lost me now.

Of course. I was holding out for you to say something interesting ;-)

BTW.. anim is nearly done. Should be up very soon.
Title is "Thread The Membrane". You intrigued?
