I'm working on a borg-include ...
I hope it would be possible to create several borg-typical structures by
macros ...
currently I have something to create borg-spheres, tractor-beams and
structures ...
except the beams and the galaxy in this picture there is everything created
of cubes ...
the structure in the background is from a recursive macro and consists of
about 64000 cubes ..
Thanx to Mark W. for his code-snipplet ... I used it for the beam ...
I'll soon give a link to a high-res pic (when it is done ...)

OK .. i've to admit, that these pics are optimized for jpg ...
here is a high-res version (2048x1536):
http://www.informatik.uni-halle.de/~walzer/borg_high.jpg
it is jpg with 10% compression (quality 90%) and and it still eats my nice
sharp edges and colors them ...
but I think it's better than a 4,5MB PNG ....
Comments ??? (of course not to jpg)

I love this.... !!!
reminds me of the artist, whose name escapes me, who paints some of the covers
for Poul Anderson's sf books..... Very cool indeed.
