Hi There,
I've been working on some code for making
shrubs and bushes in MegaPov, and I'd sure
appreciate your opinions on this sample. It's
800x600, MegaPov 0.6a, PIII 450, rendered
in 1 min 20 sec.
Thanks, have a great day!

Hmm that looks very nice!! But if you don't mind here are a few
suggestions, it seems a bit off and I'm not sure I can pin down why,
here are my thoughts. The leaves seem too big for the overall size of
the bush. Also the size of the leaves don't seem to taper off fast
enough as your reach the end of the branches. There also seems to be
something a bit odd about the way it branches, perhaps if you posted a
leafless version someone who noes more about plants than me could tell
you what is wrong in more detail? Anyway that's just my 2 cents.

That looks great, the leaves look a bit stiff and
the whole thing looks a bit flat but that's due
to ambient light I think.
Nice work, keep us posted on your progress.

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your help. I'm attaching the "naked" shrub
to this one. I'll post another version with smaller leaves
and ones that taper off smaller at the ends later.
Have a great day!

Hi Steve,
The leaves might look a little stiff because I was
modeling some citrus leaves, theyr'e kinda stiff
anyway. I'll try to add some control over that if
I can.
Thanks for you help, have a great day!

looks ok and sounds quite fast, some information on memory requirements
and what and how many objects are used would be great.

Makes a great tree! mean that it looks like a big old tree, with enough
small leaves it would be very good.
As a bush it is also very good. I like the original version.

Looks good to me. Very fast too.
Did you colour the leaves separately?
How much memory did it take?
