Something happened with the last image - looks like KNode messed up
posting. I'll try this again with Netscape.
I started working on this image awhile ago, but then I got distracted
and
forgot about it. When I came back to it I had reliazed I forgot what my
intention was :)
I started off playing with IsoWood, then heightfields, then water (thats
a
plane with a rmf normal), then skies. The grass is using the vegtate
include (made a few minor changes to it).
So therefore I will ask:
When you look at it, what do you see?

Where to get the vegetate.inc?

I see a still that reminds me of beeing in Denmark, standing in front of a
dune.
I just have to go along that wooden gangplank and then...
What's comming up?
A big wide beach.
The wooden gangplank seems to be to bright IMO. Make it a little bit darker,
so that one can see the wodden texture.
best wishes,
Robert

The grass and ground look very good, just the wood needs some change of
finish.
The proportions seem slightly wrong, the grass is too large in relation to
the wood and water waves IMO.

The grass looks great. I think the top 3rd of the picture could
use some work. The transition from water to sky is too abrupt.
It seems like you need to add a fog to the horizon. And maybe some
clouds would be good too.

Think the peak on top of the hill must go so that at least that displaced
tuft of grass is gone.
The water needs a secondary pattern variation to keep from looking too
uniform.

Cool pic. I like the vegetation. The sky and the water at the horizon don't
seem to fit though, it's too blaringly white against the landscape. I'd tone
it down a little.
