I like the burning mark above the candle. The glass is way to clean, maybe
some condense or rain on it?

Can you guess how did I make it?-)

Any suggestions on how to do it?

Do you want to burn the house or why is the wood above the candle that
dark? :-) The rest looks quite good now, just the box needs some work on
the texture IMO.

BTW why didn't you post it in plain jpg?

BZ2 is unknown to me as an extension; what should I do with it?

What viewing program do you use? It's no jpg file but bzip2 compressed and
therefore you need a decompressor.

To Sander:
There is a bunzip2.exe coming with cygwin, otherwise you could try
http://www.powerarchiver.com/ (presuming you are using windows)

Me neither, or at least after seeing the extension I didn't even try.
This is funny, when you think about the discussion on file formats going on in
the animation group. I guess my newsreader isn't as advanced as it should be on
my piece of crap toy system ;)

My first impression, when looking at the picture, was that it is a shadow.
That leads me to an invisible object or negative light.
My solution would probably be a scaled and turbulated spherical pigment.

Rain, little streams of water -> blobs, maybe with a little bit higher
reflection than the glass.
Condense, a very thin box, in front of the glass, containig scattering
media.

Almost seems to have been done as a matter of point, lets all start posting
our images in none standard hitherto unknown formats with or without
additional compression just for fun.
