Now that does look good, but and you know there's always a but,
I can see the sky through the middle windows at the front just
above the door, (well I think it's the sky), that doesn't look
right some how. And also the image seems to have gained a
flattness from something that's been changed, maybe you've
added ambient lighting.

My first thought was Coldits. Keep up the good work, this is
really coming along.

Nice! Threatening!
But... (Always a but...)
It looks so flat! it really needs some contrast... I really think some
torches would look nice. And drop the ambient. And, maybe, try radiosity.
Will look even better!

Nice.

How about some archers in the towers (Or cannons) and some torches on the
wall.

Run Away! Run Away! Run Away!

haha, you silly english type persons.

Much improved, nice work. Walls need a little more contrast though.

Yes, it's the sky or more precise the "sunlit" edge of one of the clouds.
The back of the upper part is made only out of some woodbeams, as I read
that was the way they did it in medieval times for the supply of arrows and
things like that. I'll think about it.

The flatness is due to the radiosity I used (ambient_light is 0). The clouds
block almost every direct light from the "sun", but with all that white snow
... In fact, the light_source is only responsible for the white edges of the
clouds. I'll probably have to change them for more direct lighting.

BTW: There is indeed always a "but" perhaps we could add an abbreviation
lithe TIAAB? :-) This one is far from finished.

Thanks!

The clouds are layered planes from Samuel Benge, only a little bit modified.

Thanks!

Hi hi, no ambient used - but radiosity. The fault is probably that the
direct lighting is blocked by the clouds and the snow add to much to the
overall radiosity-lighting. I'll try to change that. Perhaps torches or
something like that would be good to bring back some of the shadows and add
some colors.

Thanks!

Torches will probably come in the near future. Not to sure about archers ...
I would like to add them, but I'm struggling with the winter-clothes, they
would need in this snow. Since I'm working most of the time with the Blobman
that's not that an easy task.

Hm, I don't get this one. I don't think I'm an english type person ....well,
I try to type in English, but ... ? :-)

Thanks and yes, you are right, definite need of some shadows!
