Shit!!!

I don't wanted to post this twice! Unfortunately I can't cancel my posts on
this server. Don't know why, OE 4.72 does not let me. No problems with it on
the Newsserver of my ISP ... If someone else can cancel it, please do so.

Sorry,

Marc-Hendrik

You're right it doesn't look imposing, it looks kind of cute.

Maybe darken the fort a bit, lessen the contrast between the
stone and mortar, make both the stone and mortar darker.

The flags have a happy fapping in the wind on a sunny day
feel to them, make the sky cloudy.

First impressions of the snow are good, but I didn't concentrate
on it too much, it'll probably lose some of it's brightness when
you put the dark grey clouds in.

Of course, the problem here might be that it's his city - I can hear the
architects bitching about it - "He wants imposing and friendly? - what he
wants is a good kick up the a***"

Is this a contradiction? Cute and imposing? Perhaps. Something to fear is
probably more imposing, isn't it?

I'll work on this.

Ok.

It's just a quick HF to have a ground. Perhaps I'll come up with some rocks
and precipices, 'cause Torganswall is located on mountains with glaciers,
everlasting ice etc.

Thanks,

That might in fact be the problem :-)

I think you misunderstand the sentence:

Imposing = No
Cute = Yes

No I understood it that way. But I wonder if it is possible to look imposing
AND cute at the same time. I hope 'imposing' has no connotation which I
totally miss, because most of the suggestions for this pic seems to say:
"make it darker, and add thinks to scare people of". I agree this will
probably help making it imposing, but I thought of a more "friendly" way. As
Tom Melly said in his reply: That might well be the problem. :-)

Greetings,

Marc-Hendrik

"Doesn't" is an abbreviation of "does not",

If I'd have said "It does not look imposing", it would sound asthough I
was disagreeing with you, but by saying "it doesn't look imposing", the
meaning is softened considerably and made much less formal. The
interpretation relies a lot on the context so don't (do not), take any
of the above to be a hard and fast rool.
