Some of the customers got nervous when they saw the extra digits on the price per
liter gauge.
"You're nuts if you think I'm gonna pay an octagram per liter!"

John

It's so simplistic! Clean surface, no reflections (except possibly on
the "shoulders", near the bottom), no perspective, nothing in the
background but a blurry clear sky and horizon, no intricate-looking
shapes. I could throw something like this together in Photoshop.

I don't mean to criticize, but give us more than this! ^_^

One of the songs I sing to my 5 month old is, to the tune of "Rudolph the Red-nosed
Reindeer" :

"Methane ethane butane
Propane pentane
Hexane heptane octane
Nonane
Decane".

along with the alphabet, the names of the planets, and whatever goofy nicknames for
him I can
think of.

Is it my imagination or did you also duplicate the "shadows" seen in LCD's?

Pretty cool - is it textured with an image? If so get out an image editor
and give it dirt - it makes it look so funky!

Looking forward to an extension?

Shouldn't that be Methane, Ethane, Propane, Butane?

Bye for now,

The LCD displays are done with GIFs. The other lettering is done with
text objects, using the Denmark font. I could put some dirt on the
gas pump, but Boxer would rush up and clean it.

The background is color <153,153,136>/255. The undarkened portion of
the LCDs is color <144,144,128>/255, and the darkened portion is
black. These are the same colors I use for TC's display.

Regards,
John

How much is a mg of Au worth? IIRC gold is around 19 g/cc and one dm3 of gold is worth
as much as
an MIT diploma. Can't be, that makes your gas incredibly cheap!
