I think I'm dome now. I fixed the problem where the snow shadow was
darker than the dome shadow, and added some "turbulence" to the tracks
although it somewhat gets cancelled out by the angle near the front. The
stars and the finer details in the landscape get washed out easily by
glare, so if you can't see them very well try blocking light to your
monitor.

The tracks do look better, and they are washed out a bit almost asthough
you've got ground fog in there. Maybe move your light source back in
the z axis a bit (back meaning further away from the camera).

Looking good.

Wow this is really nice:-) One thing though, the tracks start really suddenly,
as if a crane had lowered the vehicles into place outside the dome. It's
nothing that I would bother changing though.

Some people have no imagination, it's obvious they where parked there over
night and in the night it snowed covering all the old tracks.

Your right I should have thought of that.

Most things look really good now, for ex. the snow and the tracks, but the
horizon looks somehow wrong, at least on the left side, there should be some
parts visible in larger distance (i know, this is very time consuming ...)

It does go back a ways, I'm afraid that's just the way it came out.
