very nice indeed! i must tell you folks i had a funny idea when i read
"chest of drawers". i thought it might be funny to model a man or woman
topless where their nipples were replaced with drawer pulls and one side
was an open drawer. obviously it would be some freaky surreal picture.
or maybe the person would be an android.

Looks very nice. I don't like the textures, though. They clash more than
they complement each other.
Better antialiasing would help.. and I too would like to see it with
radiosity, but it needs to go in a room first!

I think there is a Magritte (or Dali ?) painting like that...
I Don't have enough ressources on these to ckeck, though..

I'm pretty sure Dali did some stuff like that. I was in Rome earlier this
year, and they had a Dali exhibition there. I recall seeing several
sculptures with this theme. I don't know if anyone else has also done this.
According to some quick checking I just did on the web, the human figure with
half-open drawers was one of Dali's reoccurring themes.

Already been done Ryan, although not a render.
It was used as an illustration to a story in Omni science mag sometime back in
the late 70's, early 80's my memory is not one of my strong points, so I have no
idea which issue, and searching through 15 years worth is a daunting task.
Neat idea though.

Strange. I made the same connection. Funny how you hear a phrase or
discription your whole life but never think about the reason for it.
Kind like it is called that just because it is called that and for

Very nice. I've always been partial to architectural (?) tpye things. It
could use more AA, but otherwise is great. Does the original have
painted wood or is that some other material?
