Well, I saw the church render and wanted to do one myself so, ta da
here it is. I am having problems with splotchiness as well. When am I
gonna find that sweet spot. I hope you don't mind the stolen idea.
Just wanted to do my own tests and as you can see around the bottom
edges of the column things there is some terrible splotch
nastiness....ugh.

I don't mind at all (don't know if it's English...).
It's good to see other "tries" on the same idea.
You're model is better than mine with nice details.
I will post the file if someone wants to test radiosity without having to
build a model.
I tried with a church because of the "wide angles". Last time, I did
columns and spherical shapes...
