Hi folks ! :-)
At present, I am working on an F-5E Tiger II jet,
as some of you might know.
This work will be finished soon.
Now I have a question I want YOU to answer:
What shall become my next POVRAY project ?
1. Lockheed P-38 Lightning
(American WW II Long-Range Interceptor / Escort Fighter)

- OR -
2. Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO Codename "Frogfoot")
(Soviet ground attack jet, counterpart to the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II
aka "Warthog")

Please submit your vote. Thanks !
Jens

My wife suggests the P-38. I have to agree as well.

No, not at all !
The P-38 Lightning was in service with the US Army Air Force.
It never operated from onboard a carrier. This is for sure.

BTW, the first twin-engined aircraft in history that got released for
carrier
operations within the US Navy was the Grumman F7F Tigercat
which is also a nice plane, though not as elegant and well-known
as the P-38 is.

Ooops....!
Sorry, I don't make animations.
Just still images.
Maybe I'll try one in the far future,
but I cannot promise it !

Yes, that's it. All script, no modeller. I like it that way !

I have quite a lot of literature related to this subject.

The SU-25 looks much more interesting to me so that has my vote.

BTW both of your current draft images look like they don't need much
more work anyway (:-)

At least you have avoided the cliche of a Czech Plane.
