What is that blue thing? A nosecone doesn't seem necessary on this sort
of ship...it doesn't look like it would function in an atmosphere.
(Except to make a nice Fourth of July show as it breaks up on reentry
and crashes toward the ground.) But it doesn't quite look like it
belongs with the rest of the ship.
It needs some more small-scale structures...ship supports, docking
ports, antennas, cranes, guidance and warning lights, and maybe some
larger support structures along the sides to reinforce the "spine".

Um, its the engine flare... still working on that to...

I thought about that, but I want to get Mega POV installed so I can put in
some good textures on it. I'm gonna need to look up Maritime law on the
placing of the red and green lights... Red on the Port (left) correct?

Thanks. I have designs for a mother ship, but they are somewhat different.
What is StarCon 2?

Yep. And driver on the starboard side, with green light there :-)
A nice web site is at:
http://www.boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/boating/index.htm
Boating laws changed here not too long ago requiring a boating license for
everyone over 12 (and under 40 as of 1994). I still have to get my license or
risk up to $200 in fine+court cost.

Oh...
It looks much too solid, and is way out of scale with the rest of the
ship. Try using media, and an array of smaller engines. I will attach an
image explaining what I am talking about.

Hmm, don't forget that there really isn't any reason for a ship like
this to have a port and a starboard side...not even a front and back,
unless it is intended to travel long distances.

Media makes my brain twist, and the ship is a "Tender" that follows the fleet on
long trips. And I do intend to change the engine, but later, when I fix this
flare so I know what to do.
