Is there a lot of crand here or just jpg behaving badly? I bet it could make
a nice scene if you cleaned up those textures. Those two objects at the
ground look strange.

A unique look to it, which I wouldn't say is a bad thing.
The texture on the horse, or rather the black pigment, seems out of place.
Well, that and the fact it's adjacent to the dark tree branches.
The pink granite rocks (?) are odd but might actually go well with
the overall appearance of this.

What I like: The tree bark is really good, and the darker colored ferns look
great. The unicorn object is well made. (I was going to say "Well done," but
everyone knows that unicorn is better "medium rare.") The horn seems
properly proportioned. The atmosphere is pleasant. (I would add more trees
to create a more "mysterious" effect, but only as a matter of personal
taste.)

Suggestions for possible improvement: The pink rocks are awkward-looking,
the ground could use a little more natural clutter, maybe more of the dark
green ferns, and the dark brown splotch on the left side of the unicorn's
face and body is a little too dark.

Regards,
Dave

- Even though I've never seen a unicorn and it possibly could have spots
on its hide, I prefer them white.
- The ground looks too flat and the texture doesn't quite cut it.
- Tell that idiot who left a coke can in their that he shouldn't pollute
mythical forests like that!

But don't listen to me as this is by far better than anything I would be
able to do.

Nice unicorn, but some people seem to think it's spotted...
At first glance I thought it was just reflective, but now I'm not sure.

So is it spotted or is it reflecting that tree?

I think the trees and the bark look great. The unicorn is very well made
great detail in the muscle tone. The most noticable problem is that it seems
too contrasty. From a composition standpoint I would not have known where to
focus my eyes. Make the rocks a little more passive and perhaps bring the
unicorn more as the centerpiece of the image. He (or She) seems to blend
into the scene too much. Like others have said this is beyond my cabability
even as it is.

Reminds me of Beverly Doolittle's paintings.
