One wonders why you would need a ceiling arch with that much height unless
you have plans to put something up there. A double door would also be more
in keeping with halls that I have seen like this in real buildings.

A fire extinguisher and safety identification tags on the pipes would be a
nice touch. Don't forget pressure gauges and control valves.

Their idea wasn't original either if iou'v seen 'Aliens' and other
sci-fi movies, floow pipes are a well-exploited theme.

Iou are Christian. Iou know that following the wai Christ has pointed
to iou doesn't mean iou want to be God. It just seems to be the right
wai for iou. "I will only show iou the door..." :))

Big metal spheres at the top of isolated ceramic posts that discharge
millions of vols of static electricity.

See, the problem is that with the mess of pipes underneath, you wouldn't see
the eyes. Perhaps in an alternate version.

Ummm... it just kinda happened. I didn't plan for it to be so high. I've
been thinking of what to put up there, and I think I now know. I'll start
working on the door right now.

I'm thinking of giving this place a texture that indicates that it has been
abandoned for hundreds, maybe thousands of years (like in Xenogears). What
does a fire extinguisher look like after all that time? Oh, and do you have
a site I can get pictures of these "gauges" and "control valves" from?

  Supply your own detail as needed. Guages are typicaly just a small diameter

I don't think anyone can give you a definite answer on this, since I really
doubt that fire extinguishers (as we know them) were around thousands of
years ago. :-)
