I've submitted one image before, but this is my first actual scene. I'm
awfully proud of it, but I'd mor ethan welcome any suggestions for
improving it. Thanks.

Nice modelling, but it looks kind of...sterile. I mean it is too clean,
it doesn't look like anyone lives there. Maybe randomize the wood
paneling a little bit, it looks like one chunk of wood. Use random
translations, scales, and rotations, and vary the color a little. And
the things on top of the stair railing seem awkward, maybe if you
squashed the top smaller sphere to half it's height, so it is no longer
spherical.

Looks nice.
Somethings bugging me about the way the pool ladder pipes
attach to the floor, it looks like their at an angle when they should
come staight down or something.
Also, (and this is just a matter of preference)it looks like you need
to adjust the camera angle statement so that the boards on the left and
stairway rails on the right are straight up and down. Right now they
kind of do this \/
PS. I like the mousehole.

Looks great, but maybe you want a background. A real dark one, I like the
darkness, but it has a big empty spot as is.

Very nice. Is this your house? If so, do you need a roommate?

Nice work. That picture on the wall could do with being a bit shiny, it
needs to reflect the light a bit. Lets see more of the water. As any
respectable mouse will tell you mouse holes aren't that shape, they're
more like a large crack at the bottom of the wall.
The railings on the stairs are great.

First actual scene huh? Not that I'm jealous or anything (harumph!).
I thought maybe the steps shouldn't go right against the column and instead not
quite reach it with a second railing there.
The highlighting on the wall seems intense to me, or it's just that the painting
looks in need of a little light shone upon itself, like maybe some sort of a
lamp over or under it.
Real nice start.

Nice image. The column around which the stairs turn very obviously intersects
with the stairs and wall. You should clip or cover these so the effect isn't
noticeable. And that dark area below the stairs is really...well, dark.
