Nice modelling, but it looks kind of...sterile. I mean it is too clean, 
it doesn't look like anyone lives there. Maybe randomize the wood 
paneling a little bit, it looks like one chunk of wood. Use random 
translations, scales, and rotations, and vary the color a little. And 
the things on top of the stair railing seem awkward, maybe if you 
squashed the top smaller sphere to half it's height, so it is no longer 
spherical.
