Since moving my compter I've got a bit carried away with the objects around
me, anyway heres the final lot, I may do a final scene properly if I ever
get the time, but I'm proud upto here. It took about an hour to render and
the radiosity bit (sorry dont know the name) was very slow in realtion to
normal radiosity scenes (too many objects?).

I realy thought about what the right object should be, but after looking at
a picture posted some hours ag, i understood : Its a container of
*dontknowtheenglishname* that are positioned around that object ... For
puting meat (or whatever for a vegetarian) out of the tooth-spaces ...
Thats for someone who has an active desktop, because he is eating while
using the mouse (and the computer) ...

Seems that the radiosity has taken all the shadow out (crevices of the mouse
buttons, etc.).

You can get some unexpected effects with radiosity, I havn't experimented
with it in MegaPOV yet though.
I like the table texture.

Good modeling, but your plastic texture is weird: The objects appear to have
very little contrast. Don't know how this turns out in you scene, but I have
used this plastic texture successfully with radiosity:
pigment {rgb 1}
finish{
ambient 0
diffuse .8
brilliance 1
specular 0.4
roughness .05
}
normal {bumps .1 scale .01} //object beeing app. 3 units wide

A question:
Would this be Megapov radiosity? With ambient > 0.0 on the mouse and
toothpicks box's texture?
I ask this because these two objects look like they are luminous...

Well it was rendered with MegaPOV through Moray, I just turned on radiosoty
last minute to see what effects I'd get, in general a nicer image appears
with radiosity, maybe I should find out what radiosity actually is (not just
what it appears to do) and how to use it :), I spose kens page will have a
fair few radiosity links, I'll go and have a look.

Ahh! I spent ages trying to get a nice (in terms of looking at) but
realistic plastic and I just tried that, I was too impressed by the fact
that it was almost the complete reverse of what I had used, but its far
nicer, thanks. I know that sounds really lame especially using moray, but
me and textures just don't go too well! Ta
