A chocolate donut covered with icing and vermicelli, and a nice
hot cup of coffee. Milk is in the fridge and sugar is on the shelf.

<grin>

This looks good, I'd expect the chocolate to
be a bit more shiny but maybe that's just
like a stereotypical minds eye thing. Don't
think I've ever seen good steam, maybe make it
more yellow and less bright, ie more absorbant.

It all fits together nicely as a scene, but
could benefit from a few bits and pieces such
as salt and pepper pots, T-spoon, packet of
cigaretts etc, the same old story, so much to
do and so little time to do it in.

I have not much knowledge about eating donuts, but is salt and pepper
nessesary for eating donuts? Smoking cigarettes would be good after eating,
some people like this while eating, but that is not my favourite ... And :
The donuts sold here in germany look awful compared to this donut or to the
many others posted before ...

It was, I toned the specular down a bit. Chocolate icing
here is rather dull.

<grin> Not many people would prefer a plate to a donut. You're wierd <big
grin>

Seriously... the plate is a lathe designed in spline editor with a
cylindrical texture.
It was used in my deadline scene (irtc horror) but could barely be seen
