The Traffic Lights macro is available for download from my
website in the POV
Macros and Objects section.

Working on an image for the IRTC sounded too much like hard
work, so I took my inspiration from the current topic to
create this macro. I hope someone finds it useful.

Hopefully in the future I'll be adding pedestrian lights and
no left/right turn
signs.

Likewise, a thankyou from me. I like this kind of thing. I made a scene file
with several of those water navigation things (such technical terminology, isn't
it?) for both the fun of it and to learn with. The little booklet I had when I
first got a small boat wasn't as good to look at as my rendering was.
Hmm, don't suppose anyone might want to see that? I'll post it to p.b.s-f. or
p.t.s-f. if I can find it later just in case someone does.

The teedback's much appreciated. I'll never be able to look at a set
of traffic lights again without thinking "wonder if you can see the
light from behind?" or "I'll have to get closer to see if they're using
an open cylinder to shade those lights or one of those cut up intersection
type cylindrical covers".

I've borrowed a road atlas with pictures of all the (UK) road signs in it,
I'd like to do them all in CSG.

You know you've been raytracing too long when you've got over 200 unread
messages in p.b.i because you've been raytracing too much recently.

I'd be interested to see this stuff if you can find it, but don't make it
a priority, it'll be quite a while before I get round to creating a scene.

Unless it is a very short render (I don't have many of those anymore)
I read the news groups while the image is rendering.
