Nice modelling. When do we get to see it in action :)

How very co-incidental. I have my high school microscope right here beside
the computer. I have been doing the measurements for modeling it. I have one
of those black ones in the little wooden box with the handle on top.

BTW, they look nice, but maybe slightly flimsy and a little new out of the
box...

All I had was a picture and a good idea of how they work to
model from. I don't know if one like this ever existed.

Pretty neat. The mirror is rather small. The textures could use a drop in
'diffuse' too. Going to put working lenses and eyepiece in, or does it have
those already?

I'm sure something like this does exist, it looks a very
plausible design.

Now what might go with this, an egg timer, a gas light,
assorted items of anatomy in a box, I'm getting a bit
carried away now.

Nice work.

This is a good start! Only to me it seems that in the position shown on the
right the microscope could easily tip over? I'm not sure about it. Perhaps
the feet should be a little longer.
Maybe there are some details still to be added? The mechanism to move the

It all depends how much detail you are going to show in the final project,
of course...

The lenses are there. The "glass" is just a clear pigment sphere, it
doesn't show up much. The texture is straight from the Mega_Metals files
that were posted here. I haven't had much time to adjust the
material/texture
at all. I am also working on a set of slides.

A different view would show the mechanism to move the tube up and down.
It is complete with teeth on the rack and gear. I should make a
dismantled
display of the whole thing.
