I haven't done much work on it lately, but I have a few ideas that will
speed it up by a large amount in certain situations. And it's sampling
method isn't really comparable to media, it is actually more like
radiosity or blurred reflection, so a "method 2" isn't really possible.
There will be alternate calculation methods, though...
Maybe I will work on it this weekend, I want to get my particle
simulator to a level ready to release first.

Well I am 16, I do not do all that much POV art because I am not very
good at all at it, I have a lack of inspiration. I like poking around in
the POV source but nothing constructive ever comes out of it, I struggle
with the maths but I keep going and will conquer it and do something
useful one day!.

So that's why I loved it so much!
My best friend was a car freak once. We had long ago agreed that the
Viper has the best butt on this planet. As a proof, he had a poster of
a Viper's back surrounded by posters of Claudia Schifer, Cindy
Crawford, Ms. Bulgaria '96 (or was it '95?) etc., a total of 6
gorgeous babes, with camera placement putting them on fair grounds
with the Viper, and I must say the Dodge really stood out, it beat'em
all.
We were 15 or 16 back then, if this makes the picture more clear.

Will you release it as open-source or something similar (maybe GPL)?

I do plan on releasing the source, I haven't decided how I would do it
though. I don't even know anything about licensing, any suggestions?

Look into it...where? I am too tired to attempt a web search right now,
but do you know of any good starting places?

I am the keeper of the List of Ages at
http://home.gci.net/~mrart/Ages.html
If you want to send me your birthday, I will add your name to the list.
You could go there now and see just how old most of us really are.
