This is one object from scene I'm creating for this IRTC. Mech is not yet
finished. It needs few texture improvements and some new objects. Modeling
was done completely in Lightwave Modeler, imported in Moray where scene was
set and lately rendered in POV. Textures are created in POV editor.

Comments?

BTW you can find first version of fake the fare on my site:

This is amazing! Entirely original design or modified from a game?

Great looking Mech.
I love the gold color scheme.

If I would find a fault I would say that
the stripes on the 'thighs' look somehow
a little funny.
I'm not sure why, it is just a feeling.

I look forward to seeing the finished
image in IRTC.

BTW, I haven't checked it out yet,
but 'fake the fire' is a nice title.

I applaud your modeling skills. I think it has a very good look to it even
though I don't care too much for the faceting of the model. The powdered
metallic texture is nice; I thought it could use some mirrored finishes in some
places though, like maybe the window glass and the gray guns. Perhaps on some
other minor parts as well to break up the solidness of the texturing.

This is oh so great!
I would like to see some detail inside the cockpit.
Is this for the irtc still or animation? I would love to see this baby
move!

WOW, an amazing image! Are you a fellow battletech player or just
someone who wanted to draw a large walking machine of death with large
guns? :)

well done to say the least...
the top looks like it would make a good hatch ...(for repairs?)
a good vacuum sealed seam would look nice...

i like the feet :)
maybe they too could have ( rubber ) seems to illustrate mobility of the
toes...
i am sure a good ( internal ) highly compressed hydraulic system would be used
for balance...
