This is a more compressed version - there is a old one
already posted to this group about 6 months old that has less
lossy compression.

A few people said they never saw it because it was too BIG for the file size
they
prefer to download.

You know, I've never kill-filed anyone on this group before. I almost did it
to that ROLEX guy but I didn't.

Maybe I am just getting grumpier in my old age...

I remember this image but didn't make the connection with the recent
postings. This one is the best of the crowd imho and it actually spent
about a week as my desktop wallpaper (it beat my own image to it so
that's something! :) ).

Still rather big (200 k ) but it's nice indeed. (and an acceptable download)
long rendertime, yes... what max_trace_level did you use for this one? quite
large I'd guess..

A bit bleached in the colours, but I think that adds only to the chrome feel of
the image.

I really like this one. Doesn't appear to have lost much impact via
compression.
And 199 KB (including encoding, text, etc.) is quite acceptable IMHO for
this resolution.

Seriously ignore their posts !

A "Kill file" is when you set your message filters to ignore any posts
made from a given email address or person. These post will not appear
on your screen as if they do not exist. This activity is usualy done
only to those that you cannot tolerate any longer because of their
posting habits or because of a serious conflict in personalities.

looked like it was posted in reply to a 1998 landscape message.
