The aspect of the "Mona" object was such that it was taller than it was
wide, leaving black space on each side of the image. To fill the screen
I decided to mirror the "Mona" object. I posted this mainly as a practical
joke in response to the image map thread in off-topic :)

My pleasure sir.

Yea, I noticed that just before I posted, but still thought it
was interesting (to me at least).

Wow, you *are* fast.

I've got a basic version working in Java now, so you can use it on Linux.

Anyone interested?

Did you get a hold of Andy on this or is it your own creation ?

Even if the people here are not interested if you put it up on a web page
I am sure that I can promote it through the povray.org links pages.

I've started talking with Andy, but the basic stuff I just did was my own for
now. Mainly reading the Targa file. I'll probably have it support other input
formats also. I'll probably get a page going in the next few days.

Very pretty Ken. Nice to see my utility used for the forces of good.

Glowing with pride,
Andy

You weren't mistaken until now. Jon Cruz talked me into GPL'ing the code
and I sent him a copy, so I'll post it to my web page in the zipped
package with the new version update. Anyone who wants it, come get some.
I'm interested to see what happens to it.

Speaking of that clock variable, Ken, I'd like to see any animations that anyone might
have yielded with TGAMosaic. I have had some problems in the past with the tiny
tesserae disappearing from frame to frame when I create mpg's using CMPEG. If I make
full blown big avi's though, the effect is pretty fun, if I say so myself.

I really haven't played with it at all. It might be interesting to see what
happens to Mona in an animation. It I get anywhere with it I will let you
know.
