I think it might mean you need a little more privacy when using the toilet. I
usually like a few walls around mine! :-)

I was really proud of this, I used image maps on the spheres,
and kept loosing the flights on the arrows when rotating and
translating them, (the old translate, rotate trick).

I still like the colour of the plane and the way the flights of
the arrows shadows overlap.

I was going to use this as the background for a presentation that
I was doing in PPoint, but left and got a better job instead.

Cheers
Steve

I think it is definatly a bit bazaire that you choose to render a 3D Loo,
for your fisrt image, what happened to the checker plane with reflective
sphere?

Maybe you need help.

This is the most ancient image of mine I could find back. It must
be the 3rd, or the 4th... I had a hard time trying to map the sphere,
until I understood that I had to map at the origin, THEN translate the
sphere ! The letters are a heightfield (POV 2.1, circa january 1994).
"elsen" is the name of the firm that my father owns.

Cheers,
Fabien.

than testing spheres and stuff...

Here is my first image...well really I think it is number 2. I am
pretty sure number one was the inside of the Subway sandwich shop I
worked at at the time. You know what? I think this might actually be a
PolyRay image. Does that count or do I need to find my first POVRay
image? This was made in POVCAD, so it could easily have been either, I
just happened to have a CD with PolyRay 1.8 on it, so that is what I
used. I don't think I have any of my really early POVRay images...The
closest I can come is the second one. Both of these were IRTC entries.
The first in the Time round (the first round of the new IRTC) and the
second in the Sci Fi round.

Well, far from my first(don't have them left, any of them) but one of the first
I have left. made in POV 3.0, using halo ...

Font is called Bard.
I made several images with this as a base, including lighting covered, in water,
in smoke, and combined...

here goes...
(I may have source, uncertain..)

Here's my first object/scene...
(And pretty much only one, so far. Just too busy with other things)

Ok here are some of my first ones. I'm not sure that these are the exact first
ones but close, before making these I played around with many different
objects and shapes.
