Looks better alright, the water has a good look to it. Although... I
don't see why the normal vignettes do soon in the background, still
ripples being used I suppose. Maybe the pattern gets more regular with
distance from the origin point of the ripples.
Helpful hint: if that is a moon you need to keep in mind that a object
external of a atmosphere (heck, within too, but at a great distance)
will not have darker parts than the darkest part of the sky. Space being
black, and all other visible things obviously lighter than that, they
must assume a brighter shade than the sky where beyond the atmosphere is
black.

Are you saying that the edges of the sphere are too dark?

I must say I like the work, and it is getting both closer and further away from
the original image.
I was wondering a bit with the shadow of the x-wing, compared to it's
reflection. i can't pinpoint it though, so It may just be the angle of the
lights.
