For what it's worth, Ian's right - this address traces back to
@home.com, and since cable modems are static IP addresses, this makes
the odds of it not being Nick very small.

<sigh>

I agree. But on the other hand, he didn't pull the wool over this newsgroups
eyes, did he? Your posting was the most entertaining turn yet (for me,
anyway). We may not ever turn Nicholas from the Dark Side, but we can at
least enjoy his antics.

Yes, most @home addresses are 24.x.x.x. I know several people with cable
modems (all through @home) and they are ALL 24.x.x.x.

It's depressing. . .Nick may have been a great artist some day. . .instead
he's a good for nothing little. . .[censored]

I think it quite the homage paid to all involved that said person took the
extra time and sincere effort to purchase a thesaurus and run Spell-Check.
it reminds me of a story...

once upon a time there was a man who had grown an ill favor towards his
neighbor and decided to express his ire in person. He shouted his position
at the unaware neighbor, but to the surprise of the man it bore little
reaction. In frustration the man began to throw handfuls of dirt at his
neighbor hoping to soil his unaffected disposition. The neighbor did little
more than casually dodge the aggregate onslaught. Enraged that the object of
his anger remained untouched, the man got a shovel and began to lob heaps of
dirt, rocks, sod and root at his neighbor. This continued until at last,
spent and exhausted, bent over and panting at the bottom of a deep hole, the
man surrendered his folly. Climbing out of the hole, the man grumbled, "To
hell with you", and sauntered off, defeated. Reaching for his garden hose,
the neighbor called out to the man," Thank you for the pool, perhaps when it
is filled you would like to cool off!".

good night- ;-]

Nice Catch!
Detective Scott McDonald, POV's very own private-eye.

Incidentally, to Ken and Spider when it comes to my posts
feel free to fire away! I could use all the help I can get.

After mostly lurking here for the last few months and reading nearly every
post here, I must say that these attacks are very uncalled for. I can't
recall ever reading a reply from either Ken or Spider that was anything
other than honest and helpful. Most of the ones I've seen from them have
been very positive of the images presented here.
Besides that, I don't think anyone who says things in such an inflammatory
manner can really be taken seriously when posting anonymously.

All I can say is that is a great piece of detective work. Wish I had
thought of it first. Also wish I had replied when I first saw it. Oh well,
such is life that we must put up with this sort of behavior from those who
will not take the time to learn real skill.

Note- I am far too awed by the regular postings here to add my immature and
simple abstract images to the esteemed collection here.

He even tried if his changed name worked correct.
Two minutes before he posted here he tested it at binary.utilities.

Well Nicholas ... you are welcome here if you post you *OWN* work here
and if keep to a certain level of politeness even after the things
you've done here. If keep on going in the direction you do now you
better be careful!

This all I have to say to this unpleasant story.
