I think this is going to be the last time I render this. It took 42
hours this time instead of 24. This time I did it with radiosity, but I
can't really tell the difference. Oh, yeah, it's also 640x480 for all
those who complained about not seeing enough detail. Enjoy. Comment.

PS: Have you managed to improve it, Mr. Tyler?

You have too much patience! :)

I like what you have here. Great detail on the bottom floor there.

Adding cell doors, and chained figures to the walls would kill me! Maybe a
cauldron of boiling oil? :)

That is very impressive. I like the way the color came out. I definetely looks
"non-rendered"

Just enough. =)

Really? It's just a simple texture, you know. I think what helps is the "scale
0.075".

Finally someone suggests something concrete. I've asked for suggestions but
have not gotten many ideas. Thank you. I actually have a pool of water in the
middle of the room, but boiling oil is better! How about this? I add the bars,
doors, and cells separated where the columns are.

Thank you. I like the colors too. This is the first time someone says that about
one of my renderings. I feel all warm and happy inside. =D

Just mark it for download and then download marked messages.

Sounds good to me!

Just to clarify, I was referring to the stairs and other details when I said
lower floor. The textures aren't bad at all, though.

If, you've never played Quake, you might want to try the shareware version
available over on CD-ROM.com. I *could* just post an image of writhing
figures upon one of the levels' walls, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to get
you hooked on Quake. :)

If you are interested just follow the links to \pub\idgames\idstuff\quake (I
think it is) and nine Megs later you'll have a great demo to play with.

If not I'll post a screenshot on my web site and post a link.

P.S. Be warned. Quake is the only folder competing closely with my render
folder for disk space. heh

I have Quake 1 and 2. Q1 is a bit too satanic for me, but Q2 is just perfect.
I've spent many a fun, scary hours playing it. No need to post. I noticed it
looked Quakey after I created it, to be honest. I'm working on adding the bars
of the cells as I write. I'll post a new version in a week or so.
