A: I go to school, play video games, watch cartoons, go to church, eat,
sleep (occasionally), program, play chess, meet with friends, etc.etc.

I am a high school student, 17 years old, so my parents provide me with
monetary support for now. I live in the Republic of Panama.

I think Mr. Tyler is some sort of scientist, although at times it seems
like he's retired. Can't really tell though.

Did this answer your question?

I don't actually think that Ken exists in the sense of the word as we
understand it, I've had this conversation with him and he assures me
that he does exist.

I thought that he was like one of those virtual Japanese people who only
exist on the net. He says not and who am I to question? His judgement,
taste and skill is enormous when it comes to raytracing.

Scientist ? Heavens no ! Scientists spend all of their time making
guesses about how things work and then rely on their peers to either
support the guess or tear it to pieces. Engineers hear about the guess,
go down to the store, buy a few parts, and come back two hous later and
show the scientist that not only is it possible but can be done cheaply.

Scientist guess and dream - Engineers build and contribute.

 I am an Engineer.

Then how come you know so much about everything? (And what's up with some
people thinking you're not real?) You have to be real, you've mentioned your
wife and fishing and stuff, so you are real. Right? =)

The reason I know what I know is because I pay attention, take notes,
study subjects that interest me in detail, and I am blessed with a pretty
good memory. I might be smart but that is open to interpertation.

I am programed to be as real as you want me to be.

This may be one heck of a pandoras box to open at the images newsgroup.
I know, I saw your request to keep it here. Those people leaving for
awhile are going to more overwhelmed than they first thought.
Answer to your question: I do this and mess with POV-Ray most of all I
think. Other than that, I eat, sleep... you know, the usual. If I'm
"working" it's typically construction, landscaping, or computer help. A
range of things besides (electrical, plumbing, etc.)

Engineers know about everything. It comes with the territory.

That's the problem if you're an engineer : you have to go out ;-)
