I see it as ASCII nonsense at the end of the message with Mozilla.

Would you please stop this? By now everyone knows
that not everyone is up to using divx. People complain
when they cannot do something because the PCs they
have access to are owned by some school or firm and

divx, but simply don't want to.
I don't mind you telling everyone that they should put
animation-encoding and -size into the headline, which
is comfortable and not too hard to do, but this
"I couldn't see it." is driving me nuts!

Jamie.

Hehe, this time my media-player told me it couldn't
decode it...

Ah well. Referring to my other post: If you cannot
decode it, though you've got divx, say so, that might
help someone. But the choice of encoding is still on the side
of the one posting.

The solution is to stop reading my posts, I guess.

Hmm. Do you know my situation??

Here's a snippet of my former post:

...
AFAIK you could install divx, but simply don't want to.
...

If the situation is different, no problem. Ask for
an animation encoded with other codecs, but this
plain (and silly) one sentence is of no use to anyone.
If someone decides to post using divx, its his choice,
the only thing you can do about it is to ask if he (or
someone else) is up to decoding and encoding the
animation with a different codec.
Though we all know that mpg is a common type
of encoding, someone might have good reasons for
using divx.
So, if you really MUST reply with some sort of sentence
every time, ask
"Can I get this as MPEG somewhere?"
OR, if it was mpeg, but crappy encoded, say so.
Everything else is just annoying.
