I can't play it (W2k MediaPlayer 7.0 or Xing Player 3.30); It ran well
in MainActor's VideoEditor... What did you use to animate and what type
of image were they?

There should be more images to make a smoother animation, I guess. It
was special, anyway :)

w2k won't run it?! I just tested it out in WinME
and it's ok...

It was originally a MOV and then I changed it into
a BIK and then into and AVI and then used
AVI2MPG... hehehehe... I'm messing around with
all the converter/coders I've got testing things
out. What fun. :o)

How so? You mean it didn't run smoothly? That
was 24fps I thought... no 30fps... hm... maybe
that's where the trouble is, I should do a 24 or
25.

I have the same version of MP; the codecs I can find are:

DivX;-)MPEG-4 Video Codec (Fast-Motion)
DivX;-)MPEG-4 Video Codec (Low-Motion)
iccvid.dll

Intel Indeo(R)
Video Interactive 32-bit Driver
ir32_32.dll
msh261.drv
msh263.drv
msrle32.dll
msvidc32.dll

Should I get rid of some, or get some new ones?
Is it different from what you have?

I am at a loss why all this should be so difficult :(

I viewed it without problems with MP 6.01.05.0217 under WinNT4.
The player says it uses Microsoft MPEG 1 Video Decoder Version 2, if
that's any help to you.

I have these

These I don't have

Additionally I have Cinepak Codec by Radius Inc. Don't know, from where
it came or for what it is.

> Should I get rid of some, or get some new ones?
Don't know, my experience with MS Media Player is ca. 2 weeks. What does
it say? Does it warn, that it does not have codec or just does not play
it or play, but does not show picture? Try to enable automatic codec
download, perhaps this helps.

Anyway, I try to avoid this MediaPlayer: requires too much memory
(16MB???), shows annoying 'Media Guide' crap , which does not interest
me ('Kidman after losing Cruise'!?!?!) and looks like ...

> Is it different from what you have?
See above.

> I am at a loss why all this should be so difficult :(
We come to this world naked, wet, hungry and crying, after this
everything gets just worse...

looking good, would like it better if the bug got a little closer to the
camera :)

Do you regularly go to the Microsoft site for updates? If not, you may
not have all the available patches.
