This is much more clothlike, if Fernando would excuse me ;)

the fluttering, i assume from turbulence/air interaction, adds a lot. how
many triangles did you use?
sorry about the email again. right after i read jan's post to me about that
very thing...somebody by me a brain?

The fluttering is caused by a very low damping and very small integration
steps. That way I can conserve almost all the kinetic energy while not
getting overflows or other odd behaviours.
I used 100x100 atoms --> (100-1)*(100-1)*2 triangles = 19602 triangles.

Very good though it does die out quite a bit at the end.
P.S. Can you please try to limit the size of the files you post here.
We would like you to try for anims. of no greater than 700k before
uploading. By the time they are uploaded they will be 1 meg in size
which is our limit on this server. This is for the sake of preserving
space on the HD that hosts this news server. Thanks.

I'm glad not only you found an inspiration in my work but you've achieved
better results.
Congratulations!
Fernando.

Hi there,
I saw both animations and in my optinion both are very realistic. The
difference is: Apache's cloth is a thicker one, Fernando's is a very thin
and soft one.
Anyway, my personly favorite is still the semi-transparent one of Fernando
although it shouldn't fall onto the floor but onto a female body :-))

I love simulations like this.
