sorry, nothin' special.

Hi All!

That's Povray.
My brother, a student gave me a task he had to do for tomorrow. To
keep my mind going - I'm no student, not yet and not on a school
anymore.
He wanted to know the speedfunction of the most white sphere
(connected on that green cylinder) that is moving on a constant
height. You got that height, the length of the blue and the green
cylinder.
With Povray I could at least check if I'm right with the positions.
That is.

This one is a special case with some extra.
Bluelength+Height=GreenLength.

Just to say: that's POVRay - better than any drawboard! (for some
cases)

Maybe I think in weird ways but it reminds me of hurricanes along the
eastern seaboard of the USA where the winds are less pronounced than would
otherwise be since they move NE as the circulation moves SE on the west side
of them.
Insignificant maybe, but still the motion of the green rod is slow and fast
depending on the direction of travel. And I did say it was a weird thought.
:-)
Only other analogy that comes to mind is of an engine with single piston
stroke which moves faster under combustion than exhaust.

Well weird, yes. :-) I didn't have anything like this in my mind, just
plain math - in my weird mind.
