Do you mean how long it took me to create the animation?
It took me about a day to create and 8 hours to render.
I used Chris Colefax' Object Exploder and the glows in MegaPOV+.

Thanks Rune. I haven't even seriously contemplated trying to do an
animation yet, (If I can). I just wanted to know what sort of time it takes
to do what you have done, and whether it is viable for me at the moment.
For instance, if I quadruple your times, and get a 'movement' from my
effort, then I will be happy! :o)

    Thanks, ~Steve~
(gonna give it a go, but ain't got a clue as to 'what' yet... ;o)

I just saw it in TV now. The animations was squashed to a square, looped a
few times, and had this text written next to it:

I forgot to make a request? Oops...

Anyway, I think it was cool to see it there. Did anyone else see it?

Darn, I missed it... sorry.
So, you're saying they want square animations?
How about giving them a POV-flood?

1. The web page is: http://mtve.com/sho/topse/letter.html

2. Yes, the "M" is in fact Gil Sans Ultrabold, in case anyone was doubting. (I
can just tell!)

3. Rune, where did you get the "tv"?

4. Think they'll object to blokes from the states?

I dunno... It could seem so.

> How about giving them a POV-flood?

If some of us POV-Ray users who actually watch the program (whether it is
often or just occasionally) sent in some animations and/or pictures made
especially for that program I see no harm in that.

However, I would dissociate myself from it if people sent in things even
though they have never actually watched the program, or if they sent in
pre-existing material just to use the program as an exhibition of their
personal artwork.

Yeah, I was thinking of making something brand new with the MTV logo, but yes
at the same time, just to use the program as an exhibition of their personal
artwork. Cannot get MTV-E in the states.

I hope my sister recorded it... I asked her to because I wasn't home
at that time.
