I have to build a road network based on real life model. I used moray for
modelling the road but when I imported it in povray, it was distorted. It
is quite difficult to build a road network in povray and do not know which
objects I must use especially to build curved roads. Any suggestions?

The best for me is to model it in 3D studio MAX or Autocad and to import it
in povray. But I fear a big loss in quality and distortion. Before I
proceed further, do you think if I start modelling it in 3D studio MAX and
import it, the quality will be lost.

Any suggestion how I must proceed or do you know a website where I can get
materials to perform this job?

I can see no reason why objects imported from Moray would be distorted
or lose quality if you're doing it correctly. I've no idea what you are
doing wrong, but if you do the same thing wrong when you import from 3D
studio MAX then I'd expect the same distortions to occur.

Your description of the problem and of what you are trying to achieve is a
bit vague.
In what way does your model seem to be distorted?
Are you trying to take a 2D map of some roads and build a contoured 3D model
of a large network of roads?
or Are you trying to model road junctions with bridges and stuff?
