Just a few wishes
when you have several items in a csg or group, the ability to selectivly set
the export flag
preview render - quickly render current scene with some predefined settings
perhaps taking advantage of the Q command line option
triangle mesh export - the ability to save the mesh data used for the open
gl mode - with perhaps a sliding scale for complexity
pop up layers list in the status bar
tool bars with ability to create buttons for custom object etc - such as
create a csg teapot and have it added to the objects
cheat sheet of all the keyboard shortcuts
half size thumbnails in mat editor
UV Mapping
trace support
scratch pad for entering pov scene elements by hand - such as iso surface's
and other un supported objects
povray geometry \ texture import - if someone can demonstrate a way of
creating a VB plugin then i will write one
amin plug - camera & object paths and splines
anim plug - avi background support (for rotoscoping)

There's one in the help files.
But I only have one major, full blown feature that I *really* want to
see. - *Blob Support*
Bye for now,
Jamie.

I'll take on a couple of these...
>
> amin plug - camera & object paths and splines
Do you mean ones that are visible in the window? You can already build
splines for the location and look-at points of a camera. Additionally,
one trick is to point the camera at an object, put the object onto a
spline path and you can then easily track where the camera will be
pointing. Don't export the object...

I like that one - have to think about it.
I also think being able to load sound tracks would be a good thing...

now their is another good one :) - you realise that's only a step detached
from a deform plugin and lip synching ....

And if someone created a bone plugin, you could probably move the lips like
that.
With a bone plugin, you could set all the objects that the bone is connected
to, and with a whole skeleton of these bones, you could do some awesome
animations! Well, maybe that's a little much :-)

Wow, this post was from a while ago :-) Sorry about that ;-)
A VB plugin SDK would be nice, but Lutz would have to rewrite the entire
plugin architecture, because the DLLs that VB throws out are ActiveX DLLs,
and to the best of my knowledge, Moray uses native Windows DLLs. It would
be possible (it's been done in Winamp) to create a wrapper DLL in Visual C++
that linked them together, I suppose...
Can someone do this? Please? Someone? ;-)
