I'm interested in creating Moray plugins, but I don't have very much
programming experience in C++. How difficult are they to create? Can they
just be simply scripts that place objects here, here, and here without
having to have a ton of different specifications, or are they harder then
that?
I have Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0. Will it be at all difficult to compile it?
If I sound like a pain in the bum, don't mind me. :)

How about C? I would say for a programmer with good experience should
find it reasonably easy after looking at the docs and the sample
plugin.

I would say it's a bit harder than that, since it's not a scripting
language, but not really difficult.

Hmmm. If you use the C version, you should have no problem.
Once you have the SDK, you should join the SDK Mailing list, so that
if you have questions about compilation etc, other SDK developers (and
myself) will help you.

Not really difficult? Okay, I'll give it a go.

Thanks for your reply! :)
BTW, Moray is probably the BEST POV-Ray modeler I've used. I've tried quite
a few, also.
