Yes, and I'm one of them.

I'm just considering to chance my nick here to adjust it to the abbreviation of
my real name I use with Tina Chep. May be others could think abouut this issue
too...

As I do ever researches about the new topic I just did some researches about the
special kind of railway I will depict in RL yesterday. Riding the "Mammut" and
two other coasters were really a great research work... WOW...

Best regards,
Michael

Using Firefox, you can use the Adblock Plus addon. Result: all adds
disappear.

Spamming is a worry although the most of the wave seems to have gone for
a few months now. Maybe the admins have come up with a better way of
fighting back.

Indeed, and that is good :-)

My initial call was to shake things up a bit. Never wrong to post a
reminder.

To be more correct: Adblock Plus is an /extension/ to Firefox.

They didn't disappeared but we are served with adds the web-site thinks we are
want to look at. I have no idea about reading out cookies, but this may be the
reason that some of us see old ladies and others see young. I cannot remember to
have visited any site within the time that I have my actual machine which can
lead them to judge that I might react to the younger ones, but may be they only
judge that I'm male and of some 50 years of age and think that I may be
interested in a young russian or thai girl. Young russians were the adds just
some minutes ago in the forum. The muslim girls appeared only once.

But in fact the adds are only an annoyance and not more. And in this material
world we have to accept them to reduce costs.

Regards,
Michael

Two major problems with this option:

1) the images are only visible to members. Making them visible to the
world ensures risks of spamming if not changing them or switching them.

2) images are not kept on the forum. Try to view images uploaded some
time ago and you will see that they are not available anymore.

I was looking forward to that steam engine. Unless you were hacking away at the
Povray 3.7 source code, in which case, carry on.

Yeah, me too. But somehow I just couldn't push myself to tackle that
dragon again.

Drat! A day after the challenge closed and I have an idea that would not
take long to do.
A Lawn Jockey holding a lantern.
With a green ribbon tied round the arms meant it was a safe house for
escaped slaves on the underground railway. A red ribbon meant it was
unsafe and to keep on going.

Ah! Well. That is life.

Other than that, congratulations to all the entrants for their great
images and thank you to those who submitted unfinished work. It is
appreciated. :-D
