Hi,
I will begin work on a network 3D game, and I was wondering if the IRTC team
would agree that I copy their Winners Layout, and by that I mean:
Winners of the competition:
  1st Place: Name
  2nd Place: Name
  3rd Place: Name
Honorable Mention:
  Artistic Merit: Name
  Technical Merit: Name
Concept, Originality, Interpretation of Theme: Name

I will not copy any content of the IRTC website or CD-ROM, only this layout I
just showed you...

What do you think?

I think you should ask them directly, at <a

Not really specific to IRTC... :-)

What will be 'interpretation of theme' in a network game?
Are the ratings given by other people (judges and/or gamers)
or by the game itself? Same for 'artistic merit'.

What's the game about (if it's not company top secret information)?

Same as for the IRTC, I guess.. I don't want to spoil anything from that game,
but Art will be included in the game, and a contest will grant these artists
merit, etc...

gamers, or gamers that have the possibility to rate (judge).

The game is simply a special environment... no real rules...

Well... it's not a secret, but I haven't talked about it to any of my choosen
coworkers (friends mostly), so I'll talk about it to them first, and then when I
get some data, I'll feed you with pictures, info, screenshots, etc...

If copyright laws have gone so far that you have to ask this question, then maybe CRC
*has* copyrighted the quadratic equation.

Well.. I used to ask a question about the source code of povray, that was to
modify it to fit my own needs, NOT publish it at my own work!
Anyway, like 10 people fell on me giving me statments from the
Povray-licsence...

I just don't want to get into trouble, and This work will be published, maybe I
should add a "Thanks to the IRTC layout for the winners (http://www.irtc.org)"

I don't know exactly what I should do, I need help about this!

Thanks,
	Simon
