Yes, I knew that. Perhaps I phrased my question wrong.
When I use a color_map like this:
color_map{[0 rgb .5][.4 rgb .9][.6 rgb .2][1 rgb 0]}
How could I achieve that when using just the pattern? Is that even possible?
