Hang on... 10 years ago, digital still cameras didn't exist, digital
video cameras where those things that news crews owned, and "the
multimedia revolution" was still considered all neat and futuristic.
Decoding MPEG video in realtime required custom ASICs to do the DCTs
fast enough. So where the hell did *you* get a time machine from?!

Note 10 years ago means 1998.
Wikipedia:
"The first true digital camera that recorded images as a computerized
file was likely the Fuji DS-1P of 1988, which recorded to a 16 MB
internal memory card that used a battery to keep the data in memory.
This camera was never marketed in the United States, and has not been
confirmed to have shipped even in Japan.
The first commercially available digital camera was the 1990 Dycam Model
1; it also sold as the Logitech Fotoman. It used a CCD image sensor,
stored pictures digitally, and connected directly to a PC for download.
[...]
In 1997 the first megapixel cameras for consumers were marketed. The
first camera that offered the ability to record video clips may have
been the Ricoh RDC-1 in 1995."

Yeah, I wish.
I love my PC, but I physically *need* my car in order to remain alive.
Sad but true...

I was kind of in a hurry...?
As it turns out, the car is actually very nice. The fools I bought it
from weren't, but that doesn't matter now. I have a neat car!

wheels beating all those bullies upside the head... ;)

Hey, I'm not knocking you. On the contrary, fairplay to you. I think you
deserve something nice, and especially on your wages. Enjoy it! :)

WTF? LOL!
BTW, what the hell does "upside the head" actually *mean* anyway??

Heh. You should have seen it.
"I see you're offering 0% finance?"
"Ah yes. We can give you that. Just give us... A 50% DEPOSIT! >:-D "
"OK then."
"...er...oh, OK then."
thought they'd be able to peddle me their normal 20% APR thing because I
wouldn't be able to afford a 50% deposit. But I could. In fact, I had
quite. The look on their faces when they realised that they'd actually
have to *give* me 0%... :-D

Heh, it reminded of one of the recent adverts on telly where the car
rears up and 'runs!' (or is ice-skating or something), but I imagined it
protecting you. :)

Song containing: "Oops, Oops, Upside your Head". Can't remember which
song, but it was around 10 years ago now I think. Still don't know what it
means, but I think iirc, it included a little 'slapping' too. (Probably
wrong on that). Phil's the man to know, I think. ;)
