Agreed. It amazes me how often we hear about how the POV team 'can't do
everything'. I don't think anyone expects anything like that from them -
sure we criticise, but, speaking purely for myself, it's intended to be
constructive - I, and I'm sure everyone else, wants POV to be cast in the
best light possible - hell, who wouldn't.
So, come on POV team, there's a whole host of talent out here, all
devoted to POV, utilise that resource! Need some web-authoring done for the
new site ? Just ask, it's quite clear we have talented web-designers (or is
just vociferous ones ?) frequenting these groups, I'm sure somebody out
there has the time to help out. Need some fancy examples of POV's features ?
Just ask, hell, I'm sure a good number of those reading this knows something
about POV or has developed a technique in POV that everyone else hasn't even
thought about.

WHAT ! Old people maybe, but young people ?!! Look around you man, we
live in a world surrounded by images of scantily clad attractive woman being
used to sell all sorts of thing - kids growing up today are more than
comfortable with that image - it's the older generation (40+) that seems to
have a problem with it, while us 20-somethings seem happy enough to just let
people get on with their own lives.

God, I may not believe in you, but if you exist, cheers, mate ! at last
it seems I'm not the only normal [1] person frequenting the pov news server.

<Grin> I hope I'm including in that rare number ? Feels odd being

It's diffucult to say anything now-a-days without offending _someone_.
Very sad state of affairs if you ask me.

Since when have software upgrades ever offered anything original ? ;-)

Eh? Static movement now that's something I'd like to see. ;-)

I agree with you two.

Ahem! *You* have the TAG.

>Can't they make a special team for the website design and maintenance?

I don't think it would be a good idea, unless of course it's a really
small team -- a designer/graphician and a coder.

I would, too, if need arises. I get the feeling Chris will handle it
quite unless he spends most of his day reading how peeps jump on him.

>I have Photoshop. I can be of great assistance, with this powerful tool.

I know of at least four regulars on this server who have experience in
web design. Whether our help is needed or not is an altogether
different story. For now, I am just curious what Chris has in mind.

Think again. You've just described the best-selling female character
in the computer gaming industry whose marked is mostly dominated by
young people (read: pre- and teens).

Technicalities... but I do appreciate its existance. :)

I didn't say it had to be a big team. I just said that making a team would
be good, if this takes too much time from the POV-Team's RL activities.

I wouldn't say I have much experience, but I do think I can be helpful to a
certain degree.

Me too.
