Hey, I just found a "new" feature in the POV editor! When you right-click on
top of any word group between "xxxxx", such as "colors.inc", you'll get the
menu and in the menu it allows you to open the file! Cool, huh?

Co-incidentally enough, I just noticed that myself last night.

That is cool. I may have to try it now. Did you know you can go to other files
that are open holding ctrl and pressing either left or right? It saves time.

I'm just not much of a right-clicker in POV, only in Windows, Explorer,
etc.... but I am now! Dang, and to think how long that has been there and
the number of times I had to hunt up a include file when an error cropped up
or something. I must beat myself silly for not knowing about it! I found
that it does require a file extension to be there, only drawback. And watch
out for the binary files, I was kind of hoping it would open a gif, etc.,
with it's associated program. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the
mouth (odd phrase, I know) so thankyou Tony for the enlightenment.

It's ALT left/right arrow keys. But it's cool I didn't
know about that one.
I was all excited a couple weeks ago when I figured out how to use
the bookmarks. I was starting to think it was broken. :) As usual
it was just me.
Anybody else know some undiscovered tricks?

Yep, I only wish there was a keyboard shortcut for this as well. The CTRL+arrow
key combination for switching between files, block indentation and
rightclick->open file features are the main reasons why I use the editor.
(Ooops, almost forgot my customised tools menu - with choices such as 'compile
and view 7fps AVI', 'compile and view 15fps AVI', 'view most recently compiled
AVI', 'explore the output dir.' etc.) :)
Actually, I use the editor for coding Java, Pascal, Simula and C/C++ as well.
It's a great editor - why not use it?

It doesn't have autoindentation.

It does. Go: Text, Autoindent Style, Language scope.

Who needs autoindentation - real men indent manually ;-)

Real men don't need no stinking indentation at all.
