We've received confirmation that the CodeMax keyboard tab bug (that affected a
small subset of POVWIN users) has been fixed. At the same time WinMain also put
in a change to support pasting of code snippets from POVRAY's windows help file
(so that the CR's now get understood as line breaks) and a few other minor bug
fixes.

Therefore, please don't email WinMain software about any more CodeMax DLL
issues ... any future DLL problems should be reported in the appropriate
newsgroup (either .windows or .bugreports if you're certain it's a bug).

The revised DLL will be released with the next POVWIN release (RSN) and will
also be posted to the web site for those who just want it and the new EXE.

Does "RSN" mean "Real Soon Now"? I hope it does - woohooo hehe :P

Now that's a quick response from the team! I mean the fact that you can only
donwload the exe and dll without the supporting scenes and includes. Not all
of us are as stupid as described elsewhere in this NG <g>.

It doesn't take 'all' of you to be stupid ... it's just the few who are can
ruin things for the rest [isn't that a common theme through life ? and the
reason why car manufacturers now seem to think it's necessary to put a notice
on car doors saying 'make sure head is clear before closing door' ;( ]

I may take offense to that remark! ha ha!
I have a slightly dented eyebrow from a car door (opening car door, in
my case). I was bending over to pick up my car keys which I had dropped
in the dark when a friend opened the door to help. Ouch!
And being on guard about my own stupidity has always been that way.
Watch out...

Threat from others maybe, but only during moments of my own dumbness.
Hey, I can't wait to see what that keyboard tab actually does, don't
remember anyone saying what it does. Guess only a very few of us were
unable to find out.

There is a list of about 125 defined actions associated with hot keys or
combinations of keys. While the list is 125 functions long there are
currently maybe 70% of those with a defined key/key combination associated
with it. Your options would be to finish assigning key commands to the
listed functions or change the behaviour of the functions already set to
suit your needs.
The list is really quite impressive and I just wish I would remember to
take the time to go through and learn to use it. It really could save the
savvy user a considerable amount of time. By dropping the mouse and
remembering a few keys to press you might even be able to save that wrist
action from causing permanent injury.
