..... or maybe not, the purists might argue if this kind of ship was already

By the way: Thanks for the POV-Ray-readable star catalogue over in "ping pong";
I was just starting to write my own conversion tool for one of the downloadable
catalogues because I wanted to make some birthday presents for my friends
incorporating their zodiac-signs and got a into a bit of trouble - and POOF
there came the alphaQuadrant and posted most of the imported data - thank you
again!
I hope I can make good use of that. If so, the results shall soon be posted!

Excellent, be a critic. With interest I might do something like this.
About 4 weeks to work it out, close as I can figure the solar sytem to be:
To do:
Map Uranus rings/find pictures to go from
(My attempts failed, need someone with more experience)
Features:
10 planets, 160 Satellites
220 Messier and Selected objects
FlamBayer Cat 3133 Stars, parsecs
View stars and system targets by name
OrbitCam
Glow/flare stars
Spiral galaxies
Milkyway
Warbird
Labels
Etc.

The only cause of Megapov crash I've seen is an undeclared or misspelled
variable in an #if directive, outside a macro. Such may have been the case if
someone,
[ in the last half hour ]
downloaded file size 201003 and turned on atmosphere.

I supposed you would be using MegaPOV; some of the stars in the first picture do
look like glow{} ...

I thought I used used Megapov for the "only" date() function.
No one has argued that point yet.

Megapov glow was used in case it was anymore efficient to a scripted glow.

intro.html describes a previously published page with 10 distance method
columns.
Seems to have been reduced to a single 4th column Mpc.
So ignore certain stuff on intro.html
With anyone's version my first question was always, how far?

With computer power and intelligent device 6meg turns into 26k
