What a long, strange trip...this started out in Blender with the MakeHuman
script, then to 3DS Max for mesh smoothing, noise, and poly-reduction (to
get each figure back under 64k triangles!), then through Rhino for camera
set-up and .POV output and, finally, to MLPOV for rendering with HDRI
lighting. Post-processing in Photoshop only to crop and adjust levels. Not
sure if I am done or not--very surprised by the "painterly" look coming out
of MLPOV.
