There is no need to apologize for fixing a bug and then adding extra
functionality in the process.

Thank you for your hard work !

Check out the POV-Ray source. The PNG library is freely available.

Not to mention the break-neck speed at which you add these new features.

I'll second that!

I have several files containing docs and sources now, but as far as I have seen
now it's mostly C++ and I haven't been able to figure out yet how much work it
is to convert that to Delphi. With the other file formats it was just adding a
function call to a DLL. ButI must admit, I have put a couple of hours in
searching the web now, but little time in actually checking out the sources.

Remco

PS
...and please don't start telling now that this is why C++ is soooo much better
then Delphi.

I think I know what C++ is but what's with this Delphi stuff ?

Delphi is Borlands ver of 'Visual Pascal'. They named it Delphi
because the "visual" interface side is so much better, quicker and easer
then any of the other 'Visual' programs that they felt it was so much
better that it was no longer pascal and deserved a better name then
visual. For something that is mostly interface it will blow away just
about any other language. For something that needs lots of background
code it's Pascal, how ever you feel about pascal. It seems to me that
it's harder to program then basic but runs faster, it's easer then C++
but runs a little slower and you don't have quite as much access to the
hardware.

No. That's why Java is soooooooooooooooooooo much better than Delphi.

Now, if only Borland will listen to their user feedback and get Delphi going on
Linux...

it'll even be more or less cross-platform/portable.

not expensive but I feel a little silly spending money on one feature of a
program I give away. So, as soon as I can find a reason to use it somewhere else
I'll get back here with yet another update, but until then I fear: no PNG
(unless someone would still come up with a free DLL).

Regards,

Remco
