I came across a basic video on matrices and their uses, and played around with
applying a simple edge-detection matrix to - the POV-Ray logo.

It's all in SDL and was 56 seconds of parse time for 400x400 pixels, so it's not
a fast thing by any stretch.

Maybe there are some more interesting matrices to apply, but I know there's been
some recent interest in this sort of thing.
