unfortunately, it seems to be a tradition in Crysis to be a benchmark tool with
lovely visuals but a lack of substance.  Some are reporting to have completed
the single-player game in about 6 hours...

that said, I really think the Uncanny Valley is a thing of the past.  Games are
set to prove it rather than Hollywood, because actors rule the latter and
lifelike rendered humans are not likely to replace them anytime soon, only
cartoons...
